Bravo 8 Technologies participated in the Investment Forum on Business and Knowledge Process Outsourcing organized with the collaboration of Gen. Santos City ICT Solution Association Region 12 (ISA-12), the Department of Trade and Industry Region 12 and the Local Government Unit of Gen. Santos last June 18, 2008 at the Phela Grande Hotel in Gen. Santos City.The said forum was attended by representatives of business establishments, call centers, data transcription establishments, ICT-based schools and ICT developers in within and around Gen. Santos City.
The forum centered on Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO). The discussions focused on the enhancement of the global trend in outsourcing by meeting local challenges especially in the areas of human resource and infrastructure.
Mr. Walter Sumajit of Bravo 8 Technologies was one of those requested to be a resource speaker on the software development side, Bravo 8’s forte in the ICT field.
Mr. Sumajit talked on current trends and outsourcing opportunities relative to software development. He, together with team members Danny Boy Rosauro and Rodney Jun Madas, gave a powerpoint presentation of some of the softwares; the Bravo Therme, Bravo Genes, Bravo 8 Messenger and Bravo Campus Solutions, that they developed within one year of their business operation.
Mr. Sumajit gives an eye-opener for opportunities in the software development field by explaining how he and his team came up with software packs appropriate to the local trends and on how they can further enhance business operations in the locality.
Business owners who attended the forum expressed interest in the various ICT plans and products in Gen. Santos City.
The forum is of the two types of ICT activities that were enrolled in YAMAN Gensan business month celebration this year.
